Dr. William Truong has been practicing dentistry for over 13 years. Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, he completed his undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the University of Saskatchewan and his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Western University Schulich School of Dentistry. Dr. Truong enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and enjoys making his patients feel comfortable, secure, and well informed about their oral health and any treatment needs. Dr. Truong strives to tailor dental treatments to the individual goals and needs of his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Truong enjoys photography, swimming, hiking, cooking Italian food, playing classical music on the piano, constructing model airplanes, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Solmaz Farahvash, prior to starting her career in Dentistry graduated in Computer Software Engineering in Iran and worked as a site manager. Later she moved to Ankara Turkey, where she studied Dentistry, specialized and received a PhD in Periodontology. While studying in University of Gazi ,she researched and published multiple articles. She moved to Canada and chose Alberta as her new home. She can provide dental services in English, Farsi (Persian), and Turkish. Her hobbies are movies, especially Turkish Cinema.
Dr. Shalchi, known as Dr. Seama, was born and raised in Shiraz, Iran. She graduated from Manila University, Centro Escolar University with her degree in dental medicine. She then migrated to Canada, and has been practicing dentistry since 2014.Dr. Shalchi is passionate about dentistry and strives to make her patients happy. Outside of her professional life, she spends time with her two little dogs and painting. Dr. Shalchi is currently welcoming new patients.
Dr. Hosam Salaheldeen is a graduate of the Doctor of Dental Medicine Program at the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan and has been practicing dentistry for over 8 years. He started his career by completing a Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Surgery Honors Degree, following which he enrolled in a Restorative Dentistry Residency at Future University in Egypt. He then furthered his education by completing another residency in Oral Medicine and Periodontology at Mansoura University’s Faculty of Dentistry. In 2015, he was awarded The Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDSRCs Edin.) by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the UK. In 2017 he obtained his Master’s degree in Oral Medicine and Periodontology. Outside of dentistry he has been playing professional handball for over 8 years. He also loves playing soccer, travelling, and spending time with his family and friends.
A native Albertan, Dr. Dyrholm grew up in Dickson, Alberta. He was presented with the Top of Class Children’s Dentistry Award upon graduating from the University of Alberta School of Dentistry in 1960, after which he had the privilege to provide dental care to children in need in rural northern Alberta. Following that, he moved to Calgary to continue his career in general dentistry and has been practicing in Calgary ever since. Dr. Dyrholm is proud to have worked with Sedona Dental for over five years and his passion for dentistry continues. He has served as a dentist in Alberta for over 60 years and feels “truly blessed to be able to help patients get out of pain, feel more comfortable, and look more beautiful.” In his spare time, he loves to work with horses and spend time with his family.
